Lincoln Park Classic (SWL Championships)

Lincoln Park Golf Course, Grand Junction, Colorado

We would like to invite you to attend the 2nd Annual Warrior Lincoln Park Classic. This meet will be limited to 16 teams which will include the five teams from the SWL (Central, Durango, Fruita, Grand Junction, and Montrose) and 11 additional invited teams. The additional invited teams are: Eagle Valley, Palisade, Summit, Battle Mountain, Evergreen, Mullen, Golden, Glenwood Springs, Steamboat Springs, Green Mountain, and Conifer. If any of these teams do not attend we will extend invitations to other teams as needed. The course is a two loop course on the Lincoln Park Golf Course which is very spectator friendly. The course records set last year for boys and girls were 15:23 and 19:13. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. All coaches will need to register teams on CoMilesplit at the following link no later than Wednesday 25 September.

Friday 27 September:

4:00pm - Course Preview

4:30pm - JV Girls

5:00pm - JV Boys

5:30pm - High School Girls 5K Championship (16 Teams / 9 runners per team)

6:00pm - High School Boys 5K Championship (16 teams / 9 runners per team)

6:45pm - Awards Ceremony at Lincoln Park Golf Course Clubhouse

Teams will not be allowed on the golf course until 4:00pm!!!

Team Tent Area will open at 3:00pm for set-up

PLEASE STAY OFF GREENS & TEE BOXES AT ALL TIMES!!!

Entry Fee: $200 per school

9 Athletes per team allowed to run in championship race

First 7 will count as Varsity (5 score 2 displace)

Top 7 overall from SWL are All-Conference 1st Team; 2nd 7 overall All-Conference 2nd Team

First & second place team awards and SWL Champion Awards

Top 15 overall individual awards in Championship Race / Top 3 boys & Girls in JV Race
